This trio of illustrations was created during my time in university. The brief was simply to create three illustrations for a book of your choosing. I chose Eragon for a number of reasons. Firstly because I am of course a fan of the story and the characters. Secondly, I really really wanted to draw a dragon. And thirdly because the book is set over a range of locations with lots of different characters. The only problem was choosing what location and which chapter to illustrate.

These illustrations were created a little differently than my usual style, as the colour was added with watercolour paints. This was before I started adding colour digitally. I do like the look of the watercolours, and might return to it again at some point.
